About Dr.West
Dr. G. Alexander West graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1989. He trained in the renowned neurological program at the University of Washington, one of the top programs in the country at that time. Dr. West also spent a year at the world-renowned Atkinson Morley Hospital in London, England.
He is currently affiliated with Houston Methodist West Hospital and Houston Methodist Hospital specializing in micro-neurosurgery and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
Dr. West is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and has an ongoing commitment to continuing medical education for the incorporation of the latest surgical techniques into his clinical practice.
